What’s the point of a bar?

We don't believe there's any one 'right' answer. But one thing's for sure, none of us go out to be bored or boring. We go out to be entertained and be entertaining. We want new experiences that dazzle, defy expectations and leave us with lasting memories.

Who better to capture the very essence of this sentiment than Marilyn Monroe? Few have ever so feverishly stolen our hears. 

At a time when the world was far less diverse and accepting than it is today, Marilyn Monroe owned her character. She was, in many ways, a paradox. Deeply insecure, always questioning herself and the world around her, struggling - like so many of us - with the big questions. Yet at the same time she was totally together, timelessly stylish and (almost) perfectly performative.

Like Marilyn, we recognise that imperfection can be beauty, that madness is often genius, and that it's typically better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.
