“Music is the strongest form of magic”

— Marilyn Munro

Our philosophy

Music is an embodied universal language. It brings back the past, inspires the future and grounds us in the present. It connects us in ways that almost nothing else can. Through this, the music we make, listen and move to transcends cultural boundaries.

Vinyl records, first produced in 1948, marked a significant shift from music cylinders. This was a big deal. But the incredible thing is that Vinyl remains a big deal to this day. This is a mid-century innovation that has stood the test of time.

With this - the power of music and humanity's long standing love affair of vinyl - as our backdrop, we're over the moon to share the news that Eric Roy will be Marilyn's resident DJ.

Here’s a taste of Eric at Project Sessions.

It feels good to be welcomed into Marilyn’s to play music from my record collection in their beautiful space! Their emphasis is on me doing me, which means I’ll be sharing a variety of lesser known beauties from all over the globe. There’s a lot of good music I want to play to you that you’ve probably never heard before and it’s my mission to make you feel good, I might even play your new favourite song!

I’ll be inviting friends and like minded music lovers to do their thing too, so there’s a lot of love in the music here! Along with the other amazing crew serving delicious drinks and food, the room is gonna have big vibes!"

Once you arrive, it's our aim to transport you to a time and place that you can deeply connect with, a place that speaks to you on a different level.

In the meantime, here's some tunes from Eric.
